Hello,
We have some country-specific workshops coming up in October! These workshops will focus on how patient organisations can navigate health systems and the health technology assessment (HTA) processes in Taiwan, India and South Korea.
All Pinnacle members are welcome to join these workshops, even if you are not from the country of topic. It will be a great chance to learn about how HTA and health systems work in other places.
Workshop details:
- Friday 15 October – Taiwan (Mandarin & English): We will hear from Phoenix Ho from Taiwan’s National Health Insurance Administration and Jane Tsai from Formosa Cancer Foundation about how health technology works in Taiwan and where patient organisations can get involved.
- Thursday 21 October – India (Hindi & English): We will be hearing from Dr Shibu Vijayan about navigating the Indian health system, and fellow patient organisations from across India about their experiences, successes and lessons learned about working with the government.
- Monday 25 October – South Korea (Korean & English): Mr Sungju Kim (HTA expert) will explore how health technology works in more detail in South Korea. We will also hear from fellow patient organisations on how they have worked with the South Korean government.
