About Health Insurance:
This is to inform you that, IRDA has directed to all the Health Insurance companies that ” No claim in respect of any existing Health insurance policy shall be rejected based on exclusion related to ” Genetic Disorder” and not to include “Genetic disorder” in as exclusion criteria new health care policies.
In case if you have any such instance please inform/contact ORDI ( contactus@ordindia.in) with necessary documents and we shall happy to take up the issue with concerns authorities.
- Procedures To Import Small Quantities Of Drugs For Personal Use:
a. Download the application in FORM 12 A.
b. The prescription from Registered Medical Practitioner (RMP) in respect of the drug requirements for the purpose of patient use required to be attached. The prescription shall bear Medical Council of India (MCI) Registration No. of the Physician.
c. Fill and sign the application in Form 12A along with the Prescription and submit to ADC(I)/TO/DI of the respective port offices of Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO).
d. No fee is required under the Rule for said purpose.
e. The name of the drug, the quantity of the drug and duration of medication shall be clearly mentioned in the Prescription.
f. Permission in FORM 12 B shall be issued to applicant on priority basis preferably in a day or two.
