Dr. Rita Sarin
Dr. Rita Sarin is a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from CDRI, Lucknow. Presently she is working as a strategic advisor to corporates providing IP advice to pharma companies for successful launches of the potential drug products in various markets.
She has more than 25 years of experience on Intellectual Property (IP) in the field of pharmaceuticals and has handled various aspects of IP globally including patents, oppositions, litigations, licensing, agreements etc. during her tenure at Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd (now Sun pharma) and Lupin Research Laboratories. She has deep interest in IP related to Third World Network (TWN) countries and has travelled across globe as participant and speaker at IP conferences. She has also been felicitated by Dr. Abdul Kalam in 2012 for the launch of the antimalarial drug molecule Synriam.
Dr. Sudheendra Rao
Dr Sudheendra Rao is a physician-scientist with more than 17 years of basic and pre-clinical research experience in cellular and molecular biology, neurodegeneration and neurotrauma. Following his MBBS, Dr. Sudheendra worked at NIMHANS Bangalore and then moved on to do PhD in Neuroscience at NBRC, Gurgaon. His postdoctoral studies were at University of Miami, Florida, USA and at NCBS, Bangalore.
He worked with Rare Genomics Institute, Los Angeles, USA as a communications associate to run their BeHEARD Rare Disease Science Challenge grant. His overall goal is to assist social entrepreneurship in healthcare including drug development for rare diseases, that is conceived and made in India and addressing the challenges to do so. He works at IQVIA, Bangalore and in his free time, he volunteers at ORDIndia, where he is contributing as a scientific advisor.
Mr. Anil Seth
Has a biology degree with a masters in business administration, Anil has a certification in clinical research from Vienna school of clinical research. Anil is a versatile professional with rich experience of 35 years in pharmaceutical industry. He has played a key role in setting up and evolving clinical research activities in India with key role in training for clinical research, bio ethics and resourcing.
He has successfully Handled various business development and clinical operations assignment in companies like Glaxo , Johnson and Johnson , Eli Lilly.He is a life member of Indian Society of clinical research and has been their Hon General Secretory having also chaired FICCI (industry federation) for clinical research to help shape to policy framework with his depth understanding of clinical environment and Global expectations has Anil has been instrumental in completing over 200 research projects successfully.
