ORDI participated in a meeting organized by Rugnamitra Mumbai with the Hon. Chairman, Health Committee, MCGM, along with nearly 20 NGOs.
ORDI highlighted key issues concerning the Rare Disease community, including the need for a structured Rare Disease Support System at KEM Hospital. The proposal to display NPRD information and the list of covered Rare Diseases in prominent hospital areas was also discussed.
The
Hon. Chairman positively considered the proposal and will connect ORDI with the concerned MC/MCGM officials to take the initiative forward.
ORDI remains committed to improving awareness, access to information, and support for people living with Rare Diseases.
