The Organization for Rare Diseases India (ORDI) participated in the Stakeholder Meeting on the Andhra Pradesh State Rare Disease Policy, organized by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Government of Andhra Pradesh, at NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada.
Representing the collective voice of ORDI’s 32-member Pan India Patient Advocacy Group (PAG), the organization was honored to contribute to the state’s initiative to develop a comprehensive, inclusive, and patient-centric Rare Disease Policy.
With over a decade of experience in rare disease advocacy, patient support, awareness, and policy engagement, ORDI submitted a set of strategic recommendations aimed at strengthening the rare disease ecosystem in Andhra Pradesh.
