Today being the 3rd Thursday of May, we at ORDI think of accessibility from the Rare Disease perspective. All Rare Disease patients certainly have a medical disability; some rare diseases lead to visual, motor, cognitive, speech and/or hearing disabilities. Accessibility thus means access to timely healthcare, early interventions; appropriate tools for learning, tech support and a strategic plan at a personalized level focusing on their medical realities; not to mention empowerment, education and inclusion in the society. Join hands with ORDI and raise awareness for accessibility.
