With over fifteen years of leadership experience across sectors, she is a training and operations specialist, entreprenuer and mum, who describes herself as a pragmatic dreamer, passionate about creating an inclusive and sustainable eco system for children with special needs.
Kavitha is the Founder & Managing Director of Communicare Education and Training LLP
Kavitha and her team in Communicare is working to educate kids with special needs by incorporating best practises from across the globe that empowers parents, educators and therapists. At Communicare, the major focus is to ensure every child is provided with a equal, safe and positive environment for learning and that every child is meaningfully integrated into mainstream school, through our unique School Readiness Program .
She is also focused on imparting need based training programs to empower parents, educators and caregivers of children with special needs. Kavitha is the Maharashtra State Coordinator for Organisation For Rare Diseases, India ( ORDI ). She is also an expert speaker (in the area of Special Needs)for Pinkshe Foundation.
She is an Internationally Certified ‘Heal Your Life™ Workshop Leader . She believes in the power of positive thoughts to create enriching experiences in life.
Kavitha is a trained professional in Special Needs Sector and is a certified in Personal Counseling and Transactional Analysis.
She has numerous certifications which include Diploma in Learning Disorder Management and Child Psychology (College ofAllied Educators, Singapore), Certification in HANDLE Introductory Courses, Level 1 & 2 conducted by Compassionate Therapy & Training Centre (Australia) conducted in Kuala
Lumpur, Malaysia, Certificate for participating in the Glen Doman Intensive Training Program for Parents conducted by IAHP in Delhi (WhatTo Doprogram for a Brain Injured Child), Certification in Adapted Yoga (Spiral Praxis, Toronto), Certification Course in Autism Movement Therapy, Level II, Dance Movement Therapy.
She has been an evangelist of alternative therapies like Music, Dance and Art therapy for children, both, mainstream and kids with special needs. She has organized various workshops and training programsfor kids, teachers and parents at schools and other forums.
Kavitha is passionate about dance and conducts and practices Dance and Movement Therapy as an integral part of training process for kids and adults.
